On Saturday, District Seven Schools and Partners for Active Living will host a family-friendly community bicycle ride as part of District Seven’s Shield Day and Homecoming Festivities. All community members are invited to join us!!

Date: Saturday, October 24
Time: 1:00 pm
Starting Location: District Seven Administration Office on Dupre Drive
Route: 7.7 miles! We will pass a number of District Seven facilities, including Spartanburg High School, Pine Street Elementary School, Mary H. Wright Elementary School, Carver Junior High School, Duncan Park athletic facilities
Support: Bike Worx will provide a bicycle check-up prior to the beginning of the ride. Thank you Susan and Eric!
Safety: All riders are required to wear a helmet, follow traffic laws and sign a waiver. Additional safety guidelines will be provided prior to the ride.
Spartanburg Junior Cycling: The Spartanburg Junior Cycling program participants (housed at District 7 in partnership with Partners for Active Living) will be joining the festivities in their Viking jerseys on Saturday afternoon.
