Woodruff, South Carolina is one of four communities where Partners for Active Living is supporting community action to prevent childhood obesity. Over the next four years, PAL and its partners will be working with Woodruff residents to improve existing parks and recreation areas in Woodruff and to increase the number of people walking, biking, and playing.
Woodruff's downtown has wide sidewalks and active storefronts, making for good walking.
