Megan Jarrett

Megan Jarrett

Megan started her journey with food when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes just before heading off to college. Everywhere she looked for answers on her personal health journey, she found food and farmers. This led her to study Agriculture at Clemson University and graduate with a Sustainable Food and Farming degree from the University of Massachusetts.

She has worked in many facets of the agricultural world - from milking dairy animals to teaching high school agriculture. In 2020, she bought her farm with her husband and began farming for herself. With three young kids in tow, cooking healthy food and producing high-quality foods for her family has become her main goal. Her family raises or grows the majority of their own food, and Megan has become well versed in homemade and from scratch cooking - including sourdough, cheese, and canned goods.

She truly believes in food as medicine and wants to give as many people the skills they need to have a healthier life
